Thank you to everyone who contributed to helping Home for Life® meet our match challenge of $50,000. Our Winter Appeal and Match Challenge featured our dog Caden, who died of liver cancer but who was rescued as a young dog and spent many happy years at Home for Life®. Read his story here: "Celebrating Caden: An All American Dog": Home for Life Animal Sanctuary: Celebrating Caden: The All American Dog No One Wanted.

The matching funds were desperately needed as all at once two dishwashers and both our washer machines, including the workhorse commercial washer, gave way and needed to be replaced. We hate to do fundraisers for individual needs like this so the generous response to our twice-a-year appeals, with the matching funds provided, make all the difference for us at these critical times.

But most importantly, Caden's story is representative of so many of our animals who came to us desperate for a place to belong, dogs and cats we can reach out to because of your support!

We share the joy of our animals who find loving care and acceptance at Home for Life® in this video.
