Katie Thering of Kage Imagery has been a longtime friend to Home for Life and to rescued animals in our community. For many years she photographed the cats and kittens of Feline Rescue St. Paul, MN to help promote them for foster and adoption.
Since 2007, and the memorable event with famed "Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan, Katie has been the photographer for our fall gala each year. This is the second time Katie has come out to the sanctuary to capture photos of our animals for Home for Life's sponsorship program. Katie spent a sunny late fall afternoon with us at Home for Life to photograph these sensitive, heartfelt images of the cats and dogs and even our parrots, and was so generous with her time to get the perfect shot that would capture each animal's special personality and spirit. Below are some of our favorites from the day she spent with us.
