Sponsorship gives our supporters an opportunity to witness the transformative power that their generosity can have on an individual animal living at Home for Life® Sanctuary.
As a sponsor, your monthly or annual donation will help us to continue providing a secure, healthy environment wehre animals who were formerly abused, neglected and rejected can thrive and begin again to participate in the joy of being that is the right of all living things.
You can sponsor an individual cat or dog for $25 a month, or $300 annually. On average it costs $202 per month to care for an animal at Home for Life. This cost covers staff salaries, facility maintenance and utilities, and of course, food, vet care and grooming for our residents. Sponsorship provides us with a regular flow of funds to support the promise we've made to these special animals.
Sponsorships provide care for all of the animals living at Home for Life, including those who do not have sponsors. However, you will get to know your sponsored animal, through regular written updates about your animal's well-being and experiences. You may even wish to visit the sanctuary and meet your cat or dog face-to-face
At current sponsorship rates, it takes eight sponsors to fully cover the cost of care for the average sanctuary resident.
We're happy that 50% of Home for Life's animals have at least one sponsor! However, only 25% of them are fully sponsored to cover their monthly cost of care.
