1st Annual Golf Tournament

Where: Sawmill Golf Club, Stillwater, MN
Home for Life will hold its 1st Annual Golf Tournament at Sawmill Golf Club in Stillwater this summer! Come enjoy:
- A beautiful summer day at the exceptional Sawmill Golf Club
- A catered dinner
- A silent auction
- Appearances by some of the animals of Home for Life®
Dan "The Common Man" Cole from KFAN radio is threatening to make an appearance, and some great silent auction gifts have already been lined up.
5th Annual Ride for Their Lives
HFL residents Skippy and Hattie join Doc Desio of St. Croix Harley Davidson in dreaming of summer and the open road.

Our annual event for animal-loving bikers begins with a complimentary breakfast in the Twin Cities area followed by a picturesque ride to the to the sanctuary, where a lunch and facility tour await the riders.
All riders and bikes are welcome, as are guests who are interested in attending the open house at the sanctuary. Spread the word and pray for nice weather!
5th Annual Wags to Whiskers Gala
Author John Grogan will be the guest of honor at the 5th annual Wags to Whiskers.
When: Friday, October 17, 2008
Where: International Market Square, Minneapolis
Our special guest and keynote speaker this year will be John Grogan, former columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer and author of the New York Times Best Seller, Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog. Mr. Grogan has a true appreciation for the kind of canine characters that make up the population at Home for Life®, so he seemed like a perfect fit for an evening that celebrates all of the special animals at the sanctuary.
Col. Kurt Johnson, the popular auctioneer, will return, along with our world-famous dog parade, the true highlight of the evening.
Dog Days at MOA, the companion event to the gala hosted by the Mall of America, builds momentum for the Friday evening gala, and Mr. Grogan is also expected to make an appearance at the MOA for a book-signing. The dog houses created for Dog Days at MOA will again be offered for auction at Wags to Whiskers.
We're looking forward to another elegant evening with some more fun surprises at the 5th Annual Wags to Whiskers!
