Angel CareSM

Angel CareSM is designed to provide a safety net for your beloved pets while helping us care for all of our residents. Through Angel Care, if you should die or be required by age or failing health to move to a long-term care facility while your pet remains alive, Home For Life® will accept your pet and care for it as long as it lives. If you remain healthy and able to care for your pet yourself throughout its life, then we will use your donation to support our other less fortunate animals, and you still benefit from the tax deductible donation. Everyone wins!
Enrolling:
To enroll your pet in the program, you need only make a one-time,
tax deductible donation in his or her name to Home For Life®.
The amount of the donation varies with your age, and may be determined from
the table at your right. Donations can be made in a variety of forms:
- Monetary donation (major credit cards are accepted).
- Appreciated property, such as marketable securities. The current value of such property is tax deductible to you, and you avoid incurring a capital gains tax.
- A paid-up life insurance policy.
Giovanni is one of many animals at Home for Life® that barely escaped euthanasia after his owner died.
Whatever form of donation you choose, once it is made your pet is permanently enrolled. No other donations or charges are necessary.
You need only fill out the requested information, and choose your method of payment. For our standard Angel Care program, we ask you to certify that you (or at least one of you where couples are concerned):
- Have not been diagnosed with a terminal, degenerative, or mentally disabling condition, and
- Are less than eighty (80) years of age.
If you do not meet the conditions for our standard program, do not despair. We will be happy to discuss special terms with you.
